Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Determine patients’ diagnosis, prescribe the medication to be utilized during the course of treatment, and provide education;
- Act as a provider for patients;
- Collaborate with physicians to provide patients with the best care possible;
- We are looking for someone long-term with a passion for guiding patients through their treatment programs;
- Provide primary care and preventative care for patients in assigned care facilities;
- Work with community primary care physicians;
- Collaborate with the nursing staff and administration at each facility;
- Willing to train the right person on all of these services.
Requirements:
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency Schedule 2 License;
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Physician Assistant or 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner;
- Knowledge of CA Workers’ Compensation;
- Current California License;
- Experience with Microsoft Word management;
- Experience in pain management;
- Must have CO license.
