Our company is looking for a Nutritionist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Complies with Motor Voter Act per state policies;
  • Reviews immunization records and enters data into MIS system;
  • Any other related duties as assigned;
  • Coordinate patient visits and respond to phone calls;
  • Be committed to the vision and mission of Community Progress Council;
  • Set clear objectives and provide support to patient and family members to help them in their progress;
  • Prescribe food packages for participants;
  • Guide members of the pediatric Genetic division and other members of the Department of Pediatrics in matters of nutritional care;
  • Evaluating the dietary needs of a patient by assessing their health and exercise levels, sleep and food habits;
  • Schedules participant appointments;
  • Prepare nutrition care plans for high-risk participants and document high-risk contacts;
  • Write and publish articles to educate the public;
  • Carry out critical administrative duties for the pediatric program, including;
  • Travels to satellite clinics and performs nutritionist responsibilities;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of research methods and data analysis;
  • Knowledge of anthropometric measurement and techniques and the use and interpretation of growth charts and gain in weight grids;
  • Knowledge of correct procedures for determining medical/nutritional risk and ability to analyze nutritional problems of individuals;
  • Ability to interpret public health nutrition policies, procedures, and techniques to individuals and community groups;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Certified Nutritionist or Registered dietitian;
  • Proven experience as nutritionist;
  • Ability to present ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing, using language appropriate to the intended audience;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nutritional science, dietetics or relevant field;
  • Knowledge of basic principles and practices of nutrition and dietetics, both normal and clinical;
  • Knowledge of correct hematological testing procedures;
  • Thorough understanding of biochemistry and human physiology;
  • Creativity and critical thinking;
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in education and experience, plus 4 years of related experience.
