Our company is looking for a PACU Registered Nurse to join our team.

  • Follows Standard Precautions usingpersonal protective equipment;
  • Instructs and educates patients and families;
  • Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate;
  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment;
  • Provides age and culturallyappropriate care;
  • Carries out physician orders andassesses plans to administer patient care;
  • Administers medications, changesdressings, and cleans wounds;
  • Orients and mentors new staffmembers;
  • Provides age and culturally appropriate care;
  • Licensure/certification/registration: Appropriate state RN licensure required. BLS Healthcare Provider required. ACLS, PALS preferred;
  • Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider;
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing;
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment;
  • Current licensure as an RN;
  • Customer service abilities including effective listening skills;
  • Must live more than 50 miles from facility;
  • 1+yrs of PACU RN experience;
  • NC or Compact State License;
  • Bls/acls/pals;
  • Bachelor’s degree of Registered Nursing;
  • Have at least two current years of experience as a Medical-Surgical Nurse on an inpatient surgery ward or outpatient surgery center;
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
