Our company is looking for a PACU Registered Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:

- Instructs and educates patients and families;
- Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate;
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment;
- Provides age and culturallyappropriate care;
- Carries out physician orders andassesses plans to administer patient care;
- Administers medications, changesdressings, and cleans wounds;
- Orients and mentors new staffmembers;
- Provides age and culturally appropriate care;
- Licensure/certification/registration: Appropriate state RN licensure required. BLS Healthcare Provider required. ACLS, PALS preferred;
- Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider;
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing;
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment;
- Current licensure as an RN;
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills;
- Must live more than 50 miles from facility;
- 1+yrs of PACU RN experience;
- NC or Compact State License;
- Bls/acls/pals;
- Bachelor’s degree of Registered Nursing;
- Have at least two current years of experience as a Medical-Surgical Nurse on an inpatient surgery ward or outpatient surgery center;
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
