Our company is looking for a Part Time Caregiver to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Alzheimer’s Care;
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation;
  • Assistance with grooming and bathing;
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues;
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner;
  • Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen;
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards;
  • Assists client with all personal care functions as needed;
  • Assistance with Activities of Daily Living – Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, Ambulation, Eating;
  • Transportation/Shopping and Errands (i.e;
  • Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary;
  • Performs light housekeeping tasks and assists with laundry;
  • Assist client to and from daily activites;
  • Assist client at mealtime and monitor eating habits;
  • Assisting with light housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner;
  • Comply with client privacy, confidentiality, and HIPPA Standards;
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, 50 lbs. or less as needed;
  • We require health certificates and we run thorough background checks;
  • Previous experience preferred but not neccessary. We will train the right individual;
  • Dependable;
  • Reliability, responsible attitude;
  • Able to maintain professional boundaries;
  • Enjoys variety in job duties;
  • Must be 18 years of age;
  • Be at least 21 years of age;
  • Car registration and vehicle insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services;
  • 2 years’ experience as a care giver in an assisted living, memory care or home care setting;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Impeccable work ethic and attendance record.
