Part Time Dental Hygienist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Part Time Dental Hygienist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Other duties as required;
- Patient screening, medical history and dental charting;
- Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line;
- Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease;
- Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist;
- Maintaining and sterilizing dental equipment;
- Cleaning calcareous deposits, accretions and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins with dental instruments;
- Applying fluorides and other cavity preventing agents to prevent dental decay.
Requirements:

- Maintaining and sterilizing dental equipment;
- Cleaning calcareous deposits, accretions and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins with dental instruments;
- Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist;
- Dentrix Experience Preferred;
- Registered Dental Hygienist License in Washington State;
- Dental Hygiene Experience Preferred, However New Grads Also Welcome;
- Dexis Experience Preferred;
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing;
- Experience is great, but not always required;
- Bilingual is a plus.
