Our company is looking for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Supports community awareness education to DCAC partners;
- Provides leadership to DCAC Program areas: Integrated Care, Continuum of Care, Forensic Eval, Group and Family Treatment;
- Implement measures to assist patients in regaining and sustaining physiologic endurance to include serving in the first assisting role;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals and monitoring the effectiveness of all interventions;
- Provides leadership to Program Development and Evaluation activities;
- Function autonomously to conduct patient histories and physicals for complex critical, chronically ill, and acute patients;
- Completes continuing education as required by SCCAMRS and NCA accreditation standards;
- Participates in leadership strategic planning with DCAC’s Program Directors;
- Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines;
- Obtains photo documentation of cases according to SCCAMRS and NCA accreditation protocol;
- Orders lab work and documents results in client’s records per SCCAMRS protocol;
- Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities to ensure the health and comfort of all patients;
- Collaborates with the MDT and other providers;
- Collects and documents necessary grant related information as needed;
- Completes all client documentation according to SCCAMRS protocol.
Requirements:
- National certification (PNCB or ANCC);
- At least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years;
- Completion of an accredited Masters degree;
- BLS and PALS will be required prior to starting.
