Our company is looking for a Personal Care Assistant to join our team.


  • Other duties as requested by supervisor;
  • Transfer client using Gait Belt/Hoyer Lift;
  • Schedule:* 12hr shifts available;
  • Provide client with help walking and transferring to doctor appointments, outside activities, and shopping;
  • Assist clients with errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping;
  • Establish open communication with seniors and their families;
  • Assist in providing a safe environment for client;
  • Companionship and friendship for seniors and loved ones;
  • Provide transportation as required;
  • Ensure client’s rights are adhered to;
  • Comply with all documentation and record keeping requirements;
  • Follow principles of infection control and Universal Precautions;
  • Medication reminders;
  • Personal Care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding and other services;
  • Providing companionship and stimulation for the client; including reading, walks, accompanying the client to appointments, etc.


  • State Tested Nursing Assistant License with Hospice exp;
  • Up-to-date car insurance in your name, registration and valid Driver’s License;
  • Need to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully pass required state certification exam;
  • Skill in observation of human behaviors or changes of condition;
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects;
  • Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience;
  • Ability to understand and follow safety policies and procedures;
  • Ability to relate to and work with the ill, elderly, disabled, emotionally upset, and at times, combative people within the facility;
  • Experience with Google Suite (Chrome, Gmail, Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms) and other Google tools;
  • Patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the elderly;
  • CPR Certification;
  • Superior organization skills and attention to detail;
  • Must be able to clearly speak, read, write and understand the English language – bilingual applicants encouraged to apply;
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License;
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), a plus.
