Pharmacist – Per Diem Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Pharmacist – Per Diem to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Consult patients and assess patient’s certification to determine best course of treatment;
- Provide timely and accurate medication information to patients;
- Compound and dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas;
- Maintain controlled inventories of cannabis products in the dispensing areas.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license;
- Knowledge and/or ability to use pharmacy information systems;
- At least one year of experience as a licensed Pharmacist;
- Pay: DOE;
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age;
- Background/drug requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check and drug screen;
- Licensure requirements: Must have valid, open and active California Pharmacist license;
- Cannabis experience preferred;
- Area: Ability to work in the Fresno, CA area;
- Years of experience: 1+ year(s) of recent experience within any pharmacy setting;
- Knowledge and ability to use automated and conventional pharmacy equipment;
- Must be approved by the D.O.A. to receive an Agent badge;
- Schedule: Varies – Per Diem;
- Education : R.Ph or Pharm D;
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
