Our company is looking for a Pharmacy Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Determining a prescription validity based on necessary requirements;
  • Collaborate with other members of the pharmacy team to maintain customer satisfaction;
  • Verify that prescription information is complete and accurate;
  • Increasing knowledge and understanding of commonly prescribed medications and their uses;
  • Ensure compliance with all company procedures, federal/state laws, rules and regulations;
  • Send fax refill and transfer requests to prescribers and pharmacies.

Requirements:

  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality;
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member;
  • Experience navigating and troubleshooting the internet;
  • Experience multi-tasking with phone and computer skills;
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) or State Registration or a Trainee certificate;
  • Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications;
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills;
  • 6+ months of relevant customer service experience;
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • 6+ months of relevant experience working with computer and web based tools;
  • 1+ year of relevant phone or email customer service experience.
