Our company is looking for a Pharmacy Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Determining a prescription validity based on necessary requirements;
- Collaborate with other members of the pharmacy team to maintain customer satisfaction;
- Verify that prescription information is complete and accurate;
- Increasing knowledge and understanding of commonly prescribed medications and their uses;
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures, federal/state laws, rules and regulations;
- Send fax refill and transfer requests to prescribers and pharmacies.
Requirements:
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality;
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member;
- Experience navigating and troubleshooting the internet;
- Experience multi-tasking with phone and computer skills;
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) or State Registration or a Trainee certificate;
- Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications;
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills;
- 6+ months of relevant customer service experience;
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- 6+ months of relevant experience working with computer and web based tools;
- 1+ year of relevant phone or email customer service experience.
