Our company is looking for a Physical Therapist – PT – PRN to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the delivery of quality rehab services;
  • Participates in new learning to remain current in the field of expertise;
  • Provides training to patients, families, caregivers, and staff;
  • Participates in quality improvement programs;
  • Contributes to the team decision making process;
  • Demonstrates courtesy, compassion, and respect to patients, caregivers, customers, physicians, and co-workers;
  • Provides clinical documentation on a timely basis;
  • Participates in clinical program development and implementation;
  • Demonstrates working knowledge and application of Medicare, Medicaid, and other reimbursement systems;
  • Full utilization of technology provided to document and enhance client care;
  • Communicate Physical Therapy philosophy and treatment approaches and goals to patients, their families and other members of the rehabilitation team;
  • Supervise Symbria Rehab Physical Therapy Assistants, monitor productivity and staffing needs within the community;
  • Review and evaluate physician’s referral and patient’s medical record to determine Physical Therapy program required;
  • Complete all required clinical and billing documentation as indicated and submit in a timely manner;
  • Provides physical therapy under the Medicare Program within the scope of covered services as outlined in the Medicare Manual.

Requirements:

  • Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving skills;
  • Effective interpersonal skills with strong focus on customer service;
  • Acute care, long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience preferred, not required;
  • At least one year of home care and supervisory experience (preferred);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Physical Therapist licensed to practice in Florida;
  • Graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapy and a valid registered license for the state in which employed;
  • Knowledge of Department of Health regulations;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
