Our company is looking for a PICU Registered Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for patient care;
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment;
- Instructs and educates patients and families;
- Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate;
- Orients and mentors new staff members;
- Provides age and culturally appropriate care;
- Carries out physician orders and assesses plans to administer patient care;
- Provides age and culturallyappropriate care;
- Instructs and educates patients andfamilies;
- Serves as the primary coordinator ofall disciplines for patient care;
- Monitors, records and communicatespatient condition as appropriate;

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing;
- Prior work experience suitable for the position is preferred;
- BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS required- CPI preferred;
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure or temporary practice permit;
- 2+yrs of PICU RN experience is a Must;
- CPR Certification;
- RN within 6 months of graduation;
- Must live more than 50 miles from facility;
- Acute pediatric experience preferred;
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing;
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment;
- PICU experience preferred;
- Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider;
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills;
- Current licensure as an RN.
