Our company is looking for a Primary Care Physician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary care physicians will regular attend primary care staff meetings, departmental meetings and medical staff meetings;
  • Maintain own panel of patients and share call coverage for the clinic;
  • Opportunity to teach medical & NP students, and residents;
  • Treat newborns to geriatric patients;
  • Primary care physicians will have responsibility for supervision of or collaboration with primary care mid-level providers;
  • Leading-edge Information Technology;
  • Physicians are expected to provide clinical oversight and to participate in peer review of other primary care providers through periodic chart reviews;
  • Manages chronic conditions, evaluates and treats inter-current medical conditions;
  • Limited/No call;

  • Advises patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease;
  • Orders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan;

  • Function as day-to-day clinical leader, providing decision support to nurse practitioners and directing the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO;
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification;
  • Graduate of a 4-year Medical School or equivalent and completed Internal or Family Medicine residency or;
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice;
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a FL Medical License;
  • Document assessments and plan of care for each patient in accordance with policies and procedures;
  • The physician will follow and meet all medical center policies, rules and regulations;
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in either Family Medicine or General Internal Medicine;
  • Ability to assess external factors that impact health and behavior;
  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary setting and business/fiscal responsibilities preferred;
  • M.D. from an accredited medical school and is board-certified in in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine;
  • Maintain knowledge of new and current clinical methods;
  • The physician must possess a current Pennsylvania medical license, DEA registration, and Basic Life Support Certificate;
  • Graduate degree from an accredited School of Medicine and Residency Program;
  • Completion of an accredited residency program.
