Our company is looking for a Radiology Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain facilities, equipment, and materials in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort, and safety of patients and staff;
  • Responsible for transferring DICOM images to PACS system;
  • Operating Neuro-vascular OEC 9800 C-Arm during peripheral arterial diagnostic and treatment procedures in a premier office-based lab;
  • Assist physicians with procedures;
  • Check equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular daily basis;
  • Set up and calibrate equipment;
  • Perform oversight and project monitoring for radiation hazards;
  • Enter data and use analytical and design software applications;
  • Will provide radiological assessments and conduct radiation surveys;
  • Perform field tests according to prescribed procedures, processes, and standards;
  • Will require some lifting and carrying up to 40 to 50 pounds;
  • Maintain results logs and effectively communicate methods and observation made in the field;
  • Collect air, water or soil samples, prepare samples for testing, record data and prepare summary reports;
  • Approximately 75% overnight travel;
  • Use specialized equipment and apparatus to prepare analyses, reports, and / or technical drawings.

Requirements:

  • Computer proficiency to include MS Word and Excel skills;
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions;
  • NRRPT is a plus;
  • ANSI 13.2 qualifications, or equivalent is a plus;
  • HAZWOPER Training is a plus;
  • Mechanical and electrical maintenance capabilities are a plus;
  • AS or BS degree in Radiation / Health Physics or other science related discipline desired but not required;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
  • Ability to use radiological equipment in an effective and safe manner;
  • Current ARRT certification;
  • AHA BLS certification within 3 months of hire;
  • Computer proficiency required;
  • Willingness to cross train in other modalities highly preferred;
  • One year Radiology Tech experience preferred;
  • Current NM State License.
