Our company is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to HIPAA, the Privacy Act as mandated by Federal or State law;
  • Sterilize and maintains dental instruments (dentist or hygiene instruments);
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Must set up and clean operatory before and after each patient;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Maintain the highest level of infection control standards;
  • Accurately updates patient’s chart for each visit in the EMR;
  • Cleans dental units, chairs, instruments and operational tools;
  • Taking digital radiographs;
  • Identifies and escorts patients to the operatory;
  • Must follow OSHA and VSHWC policy and procedures.

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years of experience working with GPs, Specialists, or Hygienists;
  • X-Ray and CPR/BLS certification from the state you will be practicing in (if required);
  • Certified Registered Dental Assistant in the state of California;
  • Working knowledge of approved Dental Assistant functions;
  • Strong communication and customer service skills;
  • Experience working with individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds;
  • Must possess a license from the Michigan Board of Dentistry;
  • One year of experience working in a dental office;
  • Radiology licensure;
  • Graduation from an accredited dental assistant course, including current certification and registration as a dental assistant;
  • Should have some computer knowledge, keyboard skills;
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting a culture that respects and advances diversity and inclusion;
  • Dental Anesthsia Assistant National Certification.
