Registered Nurse – Float Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Registered Nurse – Float to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to family planning or primary care sites to provide nursing care during clinic;
- Travel to abortion sites to work with the HCM and HCA’s to provide training in clinical services;
- Travel to abortion sites to provide RN coverage as needed and to provide training to new nurses;
- Assist Nursing Director with projects and duties as assigned;
- Integrate team-centered patient care (TCPC) into clinical services to improve patient and staff satisfaction at the affiliate;
- Contribute to a positive work environment by following through on tasks, taking initiative, working with the team and identifying solutions;
- Travel to abortion sites to provide ultrasound training and or coverage if privileged.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred;
- Experience in ER helpful;
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
- RN license in NC (LPN license not acceptable);
- Good communication and strong organizational skills;
- Must be able to prioritize;
- Experience in GYN setting required;
- Experience in abortion services preferred.
