Registered Nurse Per Diem Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Registered Nurse Per Diem to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all patients’ records are updated and accurate in the EHR;
- Provides caregiver supervision in the home;
- Work with all providers to bring best quality care for patients;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Assess patient needs and develop a care plan;
- Responsible for creating CMS 485’s;
- Performs client nursing assessments using the nursing process and evidence-based strategies;
- Provides client and caregiver teaching to ensure a safe plan of care;
- Other duties as necessary;
- Providing triage and nursing assessment of walk-in and scheduled patients as directed.
Requirements:
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required;
- Proficiency in HHA Exchange and Microsoft Office;
- Ability to multi-task and think critically;
- Active and unencumbered NYS Registered Nurse license;
- Excellent customer service skills.
