Our company is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. title:nurse, registered;
  • Performing medical assessments;
  • Informs clients of their rights and responsibilities and respects these rights and responsibilities;
  • Provides ongoing education for clients and staff;
  • Ensure compliance with 6100 and 6400 regulations for applicable licensing and certification;
  • Assists the patient with the activities of daily living and facilitates the patient’s efforts towards self-sufficiency and optional comfort care;
  • Initiation of preventive, rehabilitative and therapeutic measures;
  • Utilizes CNA’s as needed in conducting rounds and assessing resident needs;
  • Assignments range from increased clinical or administrative responsibility to supervision of registered nurses, LPNs or other medical support staff;
  • Abides by the philosophy, policies, and procedures as set forth by the facility;
  • Proper suture and staple removal;
  • Prepares and submits records, reports, evaluations and forms;
  • Monitor patients;
  • Applies and changes dressings;
  • Development and implantation of care plans with Physicians.

Requirements:

  • CPR Certification;
  • Current BLS Certification;
  • CPR certification strongly desired;
  • License in good standing in the state of West Virginia;
  • Performing medical assessments;
  • Skilled in maintaining clear and concise notes in the patient’s electronic medical record (EMR);
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations;
  • CPR required;
  • Current licensure in State and CPR certification;
  • Pediatric IV and phlebotomy skills;
  • Recent BSN or ASN graduates encouraged to apply;
  • Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures;
  • Must have the ability to consistently deliver outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers;
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities preferred;
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
