Our company is looking for a RN/LPN Charge Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Routinely performs rounds to verify residents are in a safe and comfortable environment and receiving planned care;
  • Updates the care plan with change in resident status and communicates changes to licensed and direct care staff;
  • Performs resident reviews on admission, monitors the health status on a continuing basis, and documents all findings in the electronic clinical record;
  • Assists in and provides assistance with activities of daily living of the residents;
  • Administers and documents medication, treatment, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and the resident plan of care;
  • Responds to and documents resident and family concerns and actions taken;
  • Supervises, assigns and assists in the nursing activities of the direct care staff.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a licensed Nurse in good standing in the state in which the facility is located;
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain;
  • BLS certified;
  • Possess leadership skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and make sound nursing decisions within scope of practice;
  • Current or eligible for certifications in Cardio/Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR);
  • Clinical experience;
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), in good standing;
  • Interest in working with geriatric patients;
  • Basic Computer skills;
  • Current State License;
  • Completion of a state approved Licensed Program;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
