Our company is looking for a RN Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolves patient needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies;
  • Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests;
  • Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records;
  • Maintains nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures;
  • Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff; following up on work results;
  • Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families;
  • Leads by example and performs hands on care, answers call lights and assist C.N.A.’s in their duties when needed;
  • Supervise LPNs and other nursing partners as assigned. Complete performance evaluations as required (two times per year);
  • Assure that nursing partners have been assigned duties;
  • Attend in-service education programs and participates in Silver Chair Training, as assigned, to learn new procedures, develop skills, etc;
  • Assures the personal dignity and physical safety of each patient. Assist patients to attain the highest level of self-care possible;
  • Working with the interdisciplinary care team, to assure accurate patient assessment and development/revision of individualized plans of care;
  • Assist physician during rounds;
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and applicable laws;
  • Promotes and protects resident’s rights; assists residents to make informed decisions; treats Residents with dignity and respect.

Requirements:

  • Must possess an RN Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN diploma program;
  • Previous RN experience in Skilled Nursing is required;
  • 1 year Management experience preferred;
  • 1 year Long Term Care experience preferred;
  • Must possess and maintain a current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN);
  • Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse;
  • Current CPR certification and additional certification in nursing specialty desired;
  • RN, management or supervisory experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing;
  • At least one year ofSNF supervisory experience is highly preferred;
  • Current PA RN License required;
  • Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program.
