Our company is looking for a RN Telemetry Full Time Nights to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- RN ensures accurate documentation, adequate supplies and is knowledgeable in operation of equipment;
- Established nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures will be followed in administering nursing care;
- Ongoing assessment and reassessment are required to meet the patient’s changing needs;
- Initial assessments provide a baseline for future comparisons that can be made in order to individualize care.
Requirements:
- Must be able to life and position patients using proper body mechanics;
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods;
- Must have visual and auditory acuity necessary for responsibilities listed;
- Competent to care for patient receiving cardioversion preferred;
- Care of patients with chest pain;
- Competent to care for patient receiving moderate sedation preferred;
- Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and basic arrhythmia interpretation;
- Competent in care of patients post critical care: Acute MI, CABG, post pacemaker insertion, or other cardiac surgery, or interventional procedures;
- Competent to administer cardiac medication safely.
