Our company is looking for a RN to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team;
  • Work with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu;
  • Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team;
  • Maintains the confidentiality of inmate records;
  • Assists in implementing individual treatment programs in the Health Care Unit and, as necessary, in the housing unit;
  • Implements medical plan through administering medications and intervention in accordance with physician instructions;
  • Respects dignity and confidentiality of patients;
  • Administering injections of medications;
  • Assists in maintaining working and living areas and supplies in good order;
  • Applies and changes dressings;
  • Implements clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies and procedures;
  • Serve on the safety committee;
  • Teaching the people we serve to monitor their health and take their medication as appropriate;
  • Accepts constructive criticism in stressful situations;
  • Assists with activities of daily living with special attention to therapeutic significance.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community;
  • CPR certification strongly desired;
  • Active RN License;
  • Ability to work flexible hours;
  • Must have 1 Year of Long Term Care/SNF experience;
  • American Heart Association issued BL;
  • Active Applicable State Licensure;
  • Valid state RN certification;
  • BLS certified;
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities preferred;
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance;
  • Ability to lift between 20 and 50 pounds and provide CPR after certification;
  • Clinical experience;
  • Ability to remain calm in crisis situations;
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing.
