Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluation and assessment of infants and toddlers to identify areas of speech delay;
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings;
- Provide both 1:1 (one on one) and group therapy services for students;
- Provides clinical documentation on a timely basis;
- Completes required educational training per Daybreak policy,
- Maintain Compliance with Daybreak’s Compliance Program and plan, adhere to the Daybreak’s Code of Conduct,
- Demonstrates working knowledge and application of Medicare, Medicaid, and other reimbursement systems;
- Demonstrates courtesy, compassion, and respect to patients, caregivers, customers, physicians, and co-workers;
- Demonstrate a knowledge of OBRA regulations, HIPAA, Local Coverage Determination, and third party reimbursement guidelines;
- Perform duties in an independent manner and recognizes situations where direct supervision is needed; willingly helping others;
- Revise the resident’s treatment program, as needed, based upon resident performance;
- Maintain the expected productivity level that has been discussed and is expected for your position at your particular facility/facilities;
- Attend and participate, or provide information for rehabilitation team conferences regarding resident progress, problems or needs;
- Access continuing education opportunities appropriate to discipline and responsibilities in order to maintain clinical currency;
- Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines, and consistently maintain timely and accurate departmental records.
Requirements:
- Must have SC state license and CCC;
- Must have California state license and CCC;
- Must have NC state license and CCC;
- Part Time; 3 days/week;
- Must have CCC’s or be a CFY candidate;
- Understanding of current Medicare billing regulations;
- Must have Michgan state license and CCC;
- CFYs will be considered;
- South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License;
- SLP will Supervise a 5 hour Paraeducator;
- Full Time; Mainly High School Caseload; Mileage Paid;
- Master�s Degree in Speech and Language Therapy;
- SLP CCCs (Speech Language Pathologists with CCC) to cover January through June 2020;
- Start ASAP; Elementary Caseload and SLPA Supervision;
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
