Telemetry Tech Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Telemetry Tech to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned;
- Notifies Charge RN and patient’s primary care RN of any heart rate or rhythm changes;
- Maintains confidentiality of information pertaining to clients, physicians, employees, and Mercy business;
- Demonstrates general working knowledge of computers and department specific software (i.e. Healthstream, internet, etc.);
- Actively participates in department meetings, committees, conferences, and in-services;
- The successful team member has a commitment to leveraging diversity and inclusion in support of quality care;

Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma/GED or must be at least 16 years old and actively pursuing high school diploma;
- Must have a general working knowledge of computers and department specific software (i.e. Healthstream, internet, etc.);
- Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment;
- Is able to communicate effectively with all members of the health care team;
- Is able to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change.
