Our company is looking for a Valet Attendant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Observe all traffic laws and safe driving practices;
  • Assist Supervisors and Managers with additional duties, as assigned;
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance and arrive and remain in complete uniform before and during scheduled shifts;
  • Control of all incoming traffic by monitoring/directing vehicles to the front entrance motor court and/or Visitor and Employee Parking Lots;
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working;
  • Arrive early or on time for your shift;
  • Adhere to all of the policies, procedures, guidelines, and rules outlined in the Valet Employee Handbook;
  • Handle cash, valet tickets, keys, company attire, and equipment with honesty, professionalism, respect, and care, in accordance with GLV policies;
  • Be willing to perform other related duties, as requested, such as equipment set-up and break down, and grounds clean up;
  • Maintain a professional attitude and uniform appearance in accordance with hotel standards;
  • Retrieves information on guest vehicles and claim checks using valet system as needed.- Assist with maintaining neat and clean curbside;
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
  • Welcoming guests to the hotel;
  • Greet arriving and departing guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
  • Transport guest vehicles to and from designated parking areas and the hotel driveway.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and pass a background check;
  • Enrolled members of the Jena Band of Choctaw tribe who satisfy the minimum job qualifications;
  • Must be 18 years old or older;
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information;
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in a courteous manner at all times;
  • Must be able to drive a manual or automatic transmission vehicle;
  • Spouses of enrolled members of the Jena Band of Choctaw who satisfy the minimum job qualifications;
  • Minimum of one year driving experience;
  • Must be able to operate both standard and automatic transmission vehicles;
  • Military veterans;
  • Must be able to run or stand for up to 8 hours at a time;
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets the criteria of our insurance carrier;
  • Must demonstrate strong customer service skills.
