Our company is looking for a Valet to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport customers and dealership personnel, as needed;
  • Customer vehicle washing and vacuum services;
  • Ensure all window stickers are properly placed on newly arrived vehicles for display on the sales floor or lot;
  • Building and ground maintenance as needed;
  • Pick up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships;
  • Move/park vehicles;
  • Greet guests and direct them to the appropriate location;
  • Run errands for guests/management as needed;
  • Perform maintenance and upkeep (light cleaning duties as needed);
  • Ensure prompt professional response to all guest requests for service;
  • Observe all traffic laws and safe driving practices;
  • Perform in a standard as well as an automatic automobile;
  • Greet and escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations;
  • Park guest vehicles in on-site parking ramp (we are a valet-only property);
  • Maintaining the lobby entrance vestibule including cleaning, vacuuming, etc. as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must meet New Country requirements for employment;
  • Ability to handle machinery safely;
  • Ability to drive across surrounding states to transport vehicles;
  • Ability to drive manual transmission;
  • Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance;
  • Ability to speak conversational English;
  • Ability to drive a stick-shift car;
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; excellent driver and able to park cars in tight spaces;
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40+ pounds through course of shift;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Previous experience in customer service a plus;
  • High school diploma or GED required;
  • Requires a current Indiana driver’s license with a demonstrated good driving record over the past five years;
  • No experience required.
