Our company is looking for a Aircraft Avionics Technicians to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Basic knowledge of wire harness fabrication, pitot static, RVSM systems testing and repair preferred;
  • Perform other activities and projects as approved by the Director of Maintenance;
  • Assist co-workers and those in other departments to successfully perform job tasks and functions when necessary;
  • Become familiar and proficient with all shop test and maintenance gear;
  • Able to maintaining repair station records and documents as required;
  • Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies, using circuit testers, oscilloscopes and voltmeters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of General Aviation or Corporate avionics and instrument installation;
  • System repairs;
  • troubleshooting and repair of systems mainly, Garmin units;
  • Datalink Weather and Traffic Systems, GPWS, etc;
  • Pilot/static and transponder system testing;
  • Familiar with G600 installs, L3 trilogy, GTN750, GMX200, GTS820, & GTX33/32;
  • Ability to operate computer-aided drafting and design applications to design avionics system modifications is a plus;
  • Avidyne product familiarity;
  • Meet experience requirements (18 months on airframes or power plants, or 30 months of combined experience) or graduate from an FAA-approved school;
  • Be 18 years old or older;
  • Experience with Garmin product line with an emphasis on G1000 platform;
  • FAA A&P mechanic a Plus;
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and coordinate work with that of technicians, and other aircraft maintenance personnel;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Ability to set up and operate ground support and test equipment to perform simulated functional flight tests of electrical and electronic systems.
