Our company is looking for a Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and inspect boiler and storage rooms;
  • Removing bulk trash (including appliances);
  • Minor drywall damages;
  • Resolve electrical, plumbing and appliance repair;
  • Light plumbing & electrical;
  • Ability to physically manage painting, pressure washing, blower breezeways and parking lots;
  • Prepare and fulfill turnover checklists;
  • Lock installations;
  • Comply with OSHA regulations;
  • Electrical repairs;
  • Performs work area clean up and safety related duties;
  • It will be your job to provide fast, friendly, and high quality maintenance service for our residents;
  • Prepare vacant apartments for our next resident by carefully inspecting, evaluating, and making any necessary repairs;
  • HVAC repairs (if HVAC/EPA Certified);
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents.

Requirements:

  • Six months onsite apartment or hotel/hospitality maintenance experience preferred;
  • General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally;
  • HVAC Certification a plus;
  • Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Outgoing, self-motivated, and highly RELIABLE a must;
  • Must have own tools;
  • Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions, including reaching, bending, or carrying;
  • Working environment is typically outside;
  • HVAC / EPA Certification a PLUS;
  • Specialty tools will be provided, but must have own hand tools;
  • One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance and/or mechanical repair;
  • HVAC experience required;
  • Apartment maintenance experience a plus.
