Our company is looking for a Automotive Lube Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates;
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles;
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed;
  • Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem;
  • Complete work accurately and quickly allowing customers to remain in their vehicles;
  • Inspect fluid levels of power steering reservoir and transmission;
  • Inspect belts, hoses, and wiper blades;
  • Inspect vehicles for additional repairs needed;
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work areaQualifications;
  • Advise service consultant/tech for additional work;
  • Conduct multi-point inspections to identify needed maintenance;
  • Drain motor oil, change oil filter, grease chassis fittings;
  • Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs;
  • Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops-off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required;
  • Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.

Requirements:

  • ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred);
  • Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred;
  • Knowledge of automotive servicing or repair highly desired;
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance;
  • Safety and customer service oriented;
  • One year of relevant experience preferred;
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed;
  • Must have His/Her own tools and toolbox;
  • Drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles preferred;
