Our company is looking for a BioMedical Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Exhibit the mentality that customers determine our success;
- Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within the defined deadlines;
- Ensure proper care of spares, tools, and test equipment, and ensure calibration;
- Implement GE/customer facility contract, supporting business goals and objectives;
- Maintain approved parts inventory;
- Follow appropriate GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol, and completes necessary documentation;
- Proactively reach out to others on team (e.g., provide help, share best practices, mentor others);
- Follow and guide others as needed regarding appropriate GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol, and complete necessary documentation;
- Ensure all test equipment is tracked and 100% calibrated on time. Desired Characteristics;
- Assists the department in testing new equipment and working with vendors to make purchases and install equipment;
- Able to think creatively and implement solutions/solve problems, even when unfamiliar with the task at hand;
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy to understand manner;
- Ability to work independently and as a team to implement solutions through problem solving;
- Perform planned maintenance (PM), safety and environmental inspections, and maintain effective customer relations;
- Experience developing and maintaining good customer relations at all levels (e.g., nurses, doctors, leadership).
Requirements:
- Change agent and process oriented;
- Strong knowledge of electronic digital circuitry and understanding of electronic and electro-mechanical devices;
- Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process;
- Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within the defined deadlines;
- Experience developing and maintaining good customer relations;
- Identify and report any and all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization;
