Our company is looking for a Electronics Repair Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Has experience (through training, knowledge, employment history, or practical tests) necessary to perform the scope of work assigned;
  • Is proficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned;
  • Tests units using computer controlled automatic test equipment (ATE);
  • Understands the procedures set forth in this manual for documenting the work performed;
  • Assists and supports production in testing of PCAs;
  • Develop test setups and troubleshooting setups;
  • Work with buyers and material planners to improve supplier quality;
  • Following and comprehending electronic circuit board schematics;
  • Analyzes schematics for troubleshooting circuits;
  • Utilizes test equipment to test and repair circuit board assemblies;
  • Testing and troubleshooting circuit board componentry;
  • Performing soldering repairs at the component level to ensure PCB is in working order.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with electronic test and measurement equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, power supplies;
  • Attention to detail;
  • A minimum of 3 years related work experience;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Associate’s degree, or vocational/technical degree in electronics field;
  • IPC 610 certification preferred;
  • Vocational or technical training in electronics field;
  • AS or related electronics degree/experience/or military experience preferred;
  • Must have at least a High School Diploma;
  • Testing and troubleshooting circuit board componentry;
  • Performing soldering repairs at the component level to ensure PCB is in working order;
  • Must have at least 6+ months of experience in electronics repair;
  • Following and comprehending electronic circuit board schematics.
