Equipment Maintenance Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform both emergency and scheduled repairs quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize quality production;
- Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, test and make adjustments; document resolution for future reference;
- Personally adhere to all safety requirements and maintain clean and orderly work areas;
- Work closely with plant staff and safety coordinator to ensure equipment is compliant with all applicable company and government safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience in silica, aggregate, concrete or similar industries preferred;
- Welding and Fabricating experience required;
- Diesel maintenance and hydraulic experience preferred;
- A minimum of two (2) years experience with maintaining plant and heavy mobile equipment preferred;
- Strong mechanical knowledge of maintenance procedures and machinery functions required;
- Experience in operating heavy equipment preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
