Equipment Mechanic Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Equipment Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools;
- Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects;
- Operate individually and within a team environment;
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles;
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts;
- Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers’ specifications.
Requirements:
- 2nd Shift position;
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Must have own tools up to 1″ in diameter;
- 3-5 years heavy mobile equipment experience;
- Experinece with dozers, front-end loaders, graders, pavers, rollers, milling machines, skid steerers, excavators, and forklifts preferred;
- Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check;
- Current PA driver’s license required.
