Our company is looking for a Experienced Automotive Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep shop area neat and clean;
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts;
  • Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended;
  • Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician;
  • Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order;
  • Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events;
  • Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair;
  • Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins;
  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc;
  • Able to explain mechanical problems and needed repairs to Service Advisors and vehicle owners in a non-technical manner;
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay in line with rapidly changing technology;
  • Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary;
  • Check tire pressure and add air if needed;
  • Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs;
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.

  • Ability to read, speak and understand English;

  • Ability to work alone, self motivate and manage one’s own time;
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form;
  • Ability to prioritize;
  • Physical ability to use computer hardware/software;
  • Hold a valid driver�s license and clean driving record;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Punctual and reliable;
  • Basic Computer skills;
  • Strong physical dexterity for working with tools;
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality;
  • Willingness to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications;
