Our company is looking for a Field Technician II to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with remote operators;
  • Ensure a safe work environment by promoting strict adherence to company protocols;
  • Oversee personnel in the field and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence;
  • Perform and document training on and ensure compliance to Job Hazard Analysis, Pre-Job Brief and Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures;
  • Ensure work orders are complete per requirements;
  • Communicate cross-functionally across all necessary parts of the organization to achieve resolution to plant issues;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Assist in planning and executing on-site projects, installations, commissioning, quality inspections, and performance testing;
  • Assist with writing and enforcing work and equipment testing instructions and procedures, including normal and maintenance operating procedures;
  • Train personnel in safety, environmental and procedural requirements;
  • Attend, participate in and pass all assigned training in safety, environmental and other areas as assigned;
  • Ensure all documentation and required reports are reviewed, complete, submitted and filed;
  • Maintain work area and site housecleaning to 5S standards;

Requirements:

  • Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift;
  • 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required;
  • Will climb stairs and/or ladders on an occasional basis;
  • May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis;
  • Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis;
  • Must possess good English oral and written communication skills;
  • Proven computer skills in a Windows environment (Microsoft Office Products) is required;
  • Knowledge in electrical safety and arc flash standards;
  • Highest level of Integrity;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Understanding of local and national electrical codes;
  • Experienced with medium & high voltage switching;
  • Familiar with CMMS systems for maintenance tracking;
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects;
  • Working knowledge of industrial or power facility operation and maintenance.
