Our company is looking for a Ford Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs road tests for diagnosis of clients’ complaint and verification of repair;
  • Performs other duties as assigned;
  • Works as a team along with the Service Advisors communicating clients’ vehicle needs;
  • Attends manufacturer specific training classes;
  • Performs line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and full automotive troubleshooting and testing;
  • Continuously expand your knowledge for new technologies and practice;
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment;
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements:

  • High school and/or trade school education required;
  • Great mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical skills;
  • Must have basic computer skills necessary to use factory software;
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License;
  • Ford certifications preferred;
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve;
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination;
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;
  • Pennsylvania State Inspection License required;
  • B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair;
  • High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required;
  • Ford certification required (or the ability to obtain Ford certification);
  • Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively;
  • Must have own tools;
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
