Our company is looking for a General Automotive Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist other technicians in performing technical activities;
  • Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques;
  • Professionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimated;
  • Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians;
  • Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems;
  • Remove and Reinstall Transmission systems;
  • Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems and inventory supply needs;
  • Transmission Removal and Installation;
  • Maintain an organized work environment;
  • Total Car Care & Preventative Maintenance;
  • Continuously learn new information and techniques, including cross training of POS software;
  • Continuously learn new information and techniques;
  • Total Car Care/R&R experience preferred;
  • Ability to accurately diagnose transmission problems, TCM, PCM, Solenoids, electrical issues;
  • Ability to perform misfire, evap, brakes, etc.

Requirements:

  • Own professional grade tools to service any general repair need;
  • Must be punctual and bring a positive attitude to work everyday;
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems;
  • Ability to communicate solutions to others;
  • Experience troubleshooting and conducting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing;
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience working as a General Automotive Technician;
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience working as a General Automotive/R&R Technician;
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working as a General Automotive/R&R Technician;
  • ASE Certification preferred;
  • Hold a valid driver’s license (required);
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as a General Automotive/R&R Technician;
  • Inspection and Emissions license;
  • A/C Refrigerant handling certification preferred;
  • Appropriate Diagnostic tools necessary for service performed;
  • Be proficient with schematics and flowcharts.
