Our company is looking for a General Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair flat tires;
  • Stock and unload tires;
  • Change engine oil and filter;
  • Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical;
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment;
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization;
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship);
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store);
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Maintain an organized and neat shop;
  • Know and adhere to safety and environmental standards for maintenance/repair facilities;
  • Possesses an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles’ complex components work and interact;
  • Drives vehicles in and around the premises as needed;
  • Change oil, change/rotate tires, and perform minor maintenance/repair tasks as assigned;
  • Adapts to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screen;
  • Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed;
  • Eager to learn and competitive drive to succeed;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Must be at least 18 years of age;
  • 6 months of relevant experience preferred;
  • Willingness to receive instruction and follow rules;
  • Able to operate a standard transmission;
  • Highly collaborative nature;
  • Some training/experience/exposure to the automotive repair business;
  • Minimal mechanical tools required;
  • An impressive work ethic;
  • Affinity for automotive maintenance/repair;
  • Current and unrestricted driver’s license.
