Glass Shop Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Glass Shop Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work independently with a minimum of supervision;
- Inspect and package all goods manufactured in D-22 Glass Shop;
- Inspect own Work;
- May perform training duties;
- Become familiar with and follow the documented procedures in the quality system;
- Complete the transfer of finished goods;
- Performs other duties as required;
- Perform required SPC processes;
- Material handling and performing inventory transactions on a mainframe computer terminal.
Requirements:
- Manual dexterity;
- Ability to understand D-22 process sheets;
- Ability to read calipers and gauges;
- Ability to use equipment and machines;
- Ability to read and understand instructions;
- Understanding of the decimal and metric system of measurement;
- Ability to pass visual accuracy exam;
- Ability to make quick accept/reject quality judgements;
- Ability to work in a warm to hot work environment;
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs;
- Ability to read engineering drawings (blueprint reading).
