Our company is looking for a Handyman for Apartment Community to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Window screens and blinds;
  • Wall molding;
  • Installation of Appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, washers and dryers;
  • Minor drywall damages;
  • Rodent control;
  • Clean and inspect boiler and storage rooms;
  • Removing bulk trash (including appliances);
  • Toilets, sinks, vanities and disposals;
  • Caulking;
  • Gutters, down spouts and connecting hoses;
  • Resolve electrical, plumbing and appliance repair;
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents;
  • Keep the grounds free of debris and trash;
  • Manage vacant apartments by preparing them through the turnover process so apartments are ready to lease for new residents to move in;
  • Gutters, downspouts and connecting hoses.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license;
  • HVAC Certification a plus;
  • General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally;
  • Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required;
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and climb ladders;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of maintenance experience with apartment experience preferred;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Apartment maintenance experience a plus.
