Heavy Equipment Field Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Heavy Equipment Field Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- General repairs;
- Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time;
- Incorporate Alta’s Guiding Principles into daily activities;
- Implementation of optional accessories;
- Performs other duties as assigned;
- Upkeep of the service truck;
- Complete inspections;
- Responsible for the inventory of onboard parts.
Requirements:
- High Energy and Positive Attitude;
- Must have a clean driving record;
- Excellent mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of the following systems: engine, power train, hydraulics and electrical;
- Four years of previous heavy equipment or over the road (OTR) repair experience is required;
- Possess own tools;
- Computer programs – Microsoft Outlook, Volvo VCADS.
