Responsibilities:
- Studying building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations;
- Cutting and threading pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine;
- Connecting motors to control panels and balancing motors to insure efficient operation and connecting control panels to power source;
- Organized and dedicated;
- Reading and comprehending HVAC blue prints;
- Performing skilled maintenance and repair of commercial units;
- Current Trade Licnese;
- Reliable Transportation;
- Testing HVAC and Refrigeration for efficiency;
- Assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and Refrigeration systems;
- Replacing HVAC and Refrigeration Units;
- Solid knowledge and understanding of system operation, building plans and working drawings;
- Knowledge and use of all PPE at all appropriate times;
- Cutting, bending, fabriating, and installing sheet metal duct;
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation.
Requirements:
- High standard of integrity and professionalism;
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation;
- Solid knowledge and understanding of system operation, building plans and working drawings;
- Drug free at all times;
- OSHA a plus or will be provided;
- Drug free;
- Experience as HVAC Technician;
- 4 years of experience as HVAC Technician;
- 5 years of experience in commercial carpentry;
- Experience working with equipment such as: boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
