Our company is looking for a HVAC Service Tech to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Repairing complete systems;
  • Checking condensation drain lines to ensure freedom of debris and proper drainage;
  • Ensuring that all repairs and installations are accurate, serviceable, and meet safety and regulatory standards and codes;
  • Promoting service agreements and offering assistance with financing of service costs;
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources;
  • Keep records of customer appointments and payment transactions including invoices;
  • Travel to homes and businesses on a daily basis as scheduled;
  • Sell ongoing maintenance contracts to current customers;
  • Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety;
  • Perform consultations with customers;
  • Repair damaged HVAC systems;
  • Maintaining stock of inventory, company equipment, and documents all service-related activities;
  • Assisting in servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction;
  • Must look for inefficiencies in systems to find the source of any current or possible malfunctions;
  • Must be proactive in ensuring that preventative maintenance of all equipment is done promptly to help prevent future problems with equipment.

Requirements:

  • Drug free at all times;
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism;
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation;
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn and receive instruction/direction from qualified Journeyman HVAC Technician;
  • Reliable transportation;
  • OSHA a plus or will be provided;
  • Experience as HVAC Technician;
  • MUST be willing to work after-hours as needed, and occasionally on weekends and holidays;
  • Be able to pass regular drug testing; be open to background checks; have a valid driver’s license and a relatively clean driving record;
  • Have effective communication skills with coworkers, management, and customers;
  • Have basic computer skills;
  • Be trained and experienced in the field and in the profession;
  • Must have excellent customer service skills;
  • Possess or obtain EPA certification;
  • Follow routine verbal and written instructions.
