Our company is looking for a HVAC Tech to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Valid driver’s license, NATE certification, EPA license. This position requires pre-hire drug screen and background check;
  • Take an active role to ensure a level of customer satisfaction that is above and beyond customer expectations;
  • Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and and leadership roles;
  • Studying building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations;
  • Cutting and threading pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine;
  • Reliable Daily Transportation is a MUST;
  • Must have experience testing and tuning industrial roof top air conditioners;
  • Cleaning the units;
  • Maintain existing Building Management System including installation of minor system components;
  • First responder to all HVAC related problems on assigned shift;
  • Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned;
  • Respond to emergency calls;
  • May be asked to coordinate on-call third-party service vendors’ response;
  • Assists in the implementation of energy conservation measures by utilizing and/or modifying the existing building automation-system features.

Requirements:

  • Take an active role to ensure a level of customer satisfaction that is above and beyond customer expectations;
  • High school diploma or its equivalent. 2+ years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and and leadership roles;
  • Valid driver’s license, NATE certification, EPA license. This position requires pre-hire drug screen and background check;
  • Fundamental knowledge of VFD controllers;
  • Hold a current Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) type Universal—Refrigerant Recovery Certification;
  • Working knowledge of physical plant safety programs and shall be able to demonstrate understanding of fire life safety procedures and requirements;
  • Industry accredited certificate in a related field is a plus;
  • Fundamental knowledge of Trane Chillers, chilled water systems and sequence of operations;
  • Experience with DDC building management systems is a plus;
  • Technical School certificate in a related field preferred; College degree in a related field is a plus;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Fundamental knowledge of refrigeration equipment.
