I&R Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a I&R Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test prototypes (opto-mechanical, electro-mechanical);
- Perform bring-up, test, troubleshoot, repair, rework of PCBA’s;
- Support engineers in all aspects of prototyping and testing of products;
- Set up/build test fixtures, run tests according to plan, collect & report data.
Requirements:
- Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment;
- Own professional grade tools to service any general repair need;
- Hold a valid driver’s license;
- Positive attitude;
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working as a General Automotive/R&R Technician;
- Experience in setting up and executing electrical, mechanical, optical test, support data collection;
- Experience with opto-mechanical, opto-electrical, electro-mechanical systems and components;
- Strong personal initiative, high energy, ability to work independently;
- Strong experience in PCBA bring-up, test, troubleshoot, rework – must have “Fine Pitch” soldering experience, soldering under microscope;
- AA Degree or equivalent work experience. Electrical components and systems experience preferred;
- Experience in assembling optical, mechanical, electrical components.
