Our company is looking for a Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Hydraulic and mechanical press maintenance;
  • Complete maintenance and repair logs;
  • Troubleshooting and repairing PLC equipment;
  • CO2 and fiber optic laser maintenance and repair;
  • Assist in training other employees;
  • Other duties as required;
  • Be able to work under pressure when a machine is down and meet deadlines;
  • Perform general and preventative maintenance on building;
  • Performing all mechanical & electrical preventative and corrective maintenance on BHS equipment;
  • Must be skillful in the use of conventional and computer numerical control machines (CNC) and precision measuring devices;
  • Must be able to read, understand, and apply technical information from machine manuals+
  • Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime;
  • Maintain parts and tools inventory;
  • Performs any other duties assigned by management;
  • Troubleshoot and maintain engines, conveyors, electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools and hydraulic equipment.

Requirements:

  • Drug free at all times;
  • Comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications required by our client;
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism;
  • A Trade School background would be beneficial;
  • Run tests on equipment and experiments;
  • Ability to lift heavy items as well as push, pull, bend and stretch;
  • Be able to work effectively with team members to achieve individual and team projects with targets and deadlines;
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent;
  • Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics;
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in an Industrial environment; experience in a CNC Machining environment is ideal;
  • Must have demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills both Mechanical and Electrical;
  • Good time management skills;
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills;
  • Must be able to read, understand, and apply technical information from machine manuals+
  • Understands SCADA systems.
