Industrial Service Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Industrial Service Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with the owner on all projects assigned;
- Manage and supervise all phases of assigned projects;
- Replace defective refrigeration control and manual valves as needed;
- Inspect, test and calibrate ammonia detection systems as needed;
- Participate in leak and spill drills to meet requirements;
- Maintain control of the water treatment system and associated chemicals;
- Prepare and manage schedules;
- Ensure all paperwork and reports are accurate, completed on time and meet OSHA and EPA regulatory requirements;
- Ability to establish timelines and budgets;
- Solid, proven and verifiable record of career stability and project management success a must;
- Experience: 3 years experience as an Industrial Service Technician;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Ability to be on call nights and weekends;
- Exhibit professional appearance and conduct and provide customers with excellent customer service;
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including work orders, service orders, customer contracts, and company forms.

- Solid communication skills both written and verbal;
- Self-motivated;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Possess mechanics hand tools and be familiar with their use;
- Understanding of basic electrical theory a plus;
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license with clean driving/legal history;
- Understanding of basic refrigeration principles a plus;
- Read and comprehend written technical information in the form of technical manuals, parts books, and relevant publications is essential;
- Ability to read wiring diagrams a plus;
- Previous experience servicing industrial equipment a plus;
- Technical knowledge and interpersonal skills typically gained through completion of technical school or other related experience.
