Our company is looking for a IT Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hardware and software support and technical education to end users;
  • Ensure that the bench desk support consistently delivers exceptional customer service;
  • Track all drop-off, repair and pickup of customer devices;
  • Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting;
  • Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level;
  • Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers;
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability;
  • Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware;
  • Ensuring electrical safety standards are met;
  • Perform post-resolution follow-up, with users and supervisor;
  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members;
  • Assists with the remote access process when vendors need to provide support for upgrades and troubleshooting issues;
  • Troubleshoots network connectivity for property systems and maintain network wire management;
  • Maintains inventory control for all hardware/software; maintains equipment organization to help expedite service;
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

Requirements:

  • In depth knowledge and usage of Windows operating systems;
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team;
  • Experience with multiple hardware and software platforms;
  • High energy and enthusiasm along with a high attention to detail;
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and possess a strong work ethic;
  • Basic to advanced knowledge of workstation operating systems and printers;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Able to lift computer equipment, approx. 40lbs;
  • Must have working knowledge of current Windows operating systems;
  • Capability of learning;
  • Understands support tools, techniques, and how to use technology to provide IT services;
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public;
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree.
