Lead Installation Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Lead Installation Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed;
- Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions;
- Communicate with customers about scope of work and cost estimates;
- Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary inventory;
- Utilize operating system for scheduling, invoicing and processing payments;
- Measure, manufacture and install screen products;
- Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition.
Requirements:
- Ability to work outside regularly scheduled hours a plus;
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Technical AV certifications such as CTS, Crestron DMC-D;
- Ability to operate power tools, lift heavy loads and work at heights using ladders and/or scaffolding;
- Ability to work evenings and weekends;
- General knowledge of low voltage codes;
- Knowledge and experience with power tools and hand tools (e.g. test equipment, crimp compression connections and solder);
- Ability to follow system design flow charts;
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs;
- Criminal background checks will be performed;
- Must have own vehicle for travel to and from office;
- Ability to climb a 24′ ladder;
- Must have ability and willingness to safely climb ladders and man-lifts up to 35 feet;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Valid driver’s license.
