Our company is looking for a Lead Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts;
  • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment;
  • Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests;
  • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance;
  • Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results;
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
  • Fill out daily paperwork;
  • Maintain and improve all maintenance activities;
  • Consistently meet time-sensitive goals;
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies;
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, laundry equipment and HVAC systems through out the hotel;
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations;
  • Perform any necessary repairs in any emergency setting;
  • Operate and maintain hotel mechanical systems such as domestic water system, hot water systems, chilled water systems, pool systems;
  • Assisting other maintenance technicians.

Requirements:

  • Not required but preferred, basic welding and cutting skills;
  • Be familiar with hand tools and power tools;
  • Technical understanding and zeal;
  • Knowledge of scrap is a plus;
  • Basic understanding of electrical (480V) and PLC operation;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Basic safety knowledge & adherence to safety rules and regulations;
  • Fixed equipment maintenance;
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty and make decisions in a fast paced environment;
  • Must have electrical and mechanical knowledge;
  • 7+ years in Mechanical Maintenance;
  • Enthusiastic and engaged mindset to get the job done;
  • Must understand chiller operations;
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and holidays;
  • 4+ years of experience in a GMP environment.
