Our company is looking for a Lube Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules;
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards;
  • Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops-off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required;
  • Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs;
  • Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem;
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed;
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles;
  • Drives vehicles in and around the premises as needed;
  • Expertly checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required;
  • Adapts to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry;
  • Possesses an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles’ complex components work and interact;
  • Explains mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical way to Service Advisors and customers;
  • Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates;
  • Communicate with service advisors when additional repairs are needed;
  • Repair and replace tires.

Requirements:

  • Safety and customer service oriented;
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed;
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;
  • Must complete machine inspections;
  • Must possess excellent attendance, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, initiative and commitment to task skills;
  • Must be a self-motivated, thoughtful individual with a high energy level who is able to work alone or with others in a field environment;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Knowledge of automotive servicing or repair desired;
  • Good work ethic;
  • Experience can include oil changes, basic maintenance or minor repair work;
  • Full time position with the ability to work Saturdays;
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (no major violations);
  • All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include: background checks and drug testing;
  • Experience as a lube/Tire technician;
  • Previous Lube Tech experience preferred.
